Coming down tomorrow.
Hey guys, we are coming down tomorrow to take care of some business and hopefully some fishing in the Benton area. My question is how are the stores down there, is the panic buying over, or should we bring supplies from home?
Thanks for any help

Most of the staples are still a bit hard to find. We have however been finding milk readily available at Five Star Food Mart gas stations, and the smaller stores like IGA and Dollar General have had better inventory than the picked-over Walmart.
I would suggest that you still bring what you can if it's not too much trouble. There are rumors that we're looking at a 2 week total shutdown of all businesses, so people are still loading up on stuff....who knows if that rumor is anywhere close to being true.

Bring toilet paper for sure. We've been able to find most items but if we hadn't loaded up at Sams the week before the panic hit, we'd be wiping with wash rags and leaves.

How about that, I'll be coming down tomorrow also. Not a fun trip though, I'm picking up a truck for the dealership I work for. Going to Riley ford Benton.

Thanks for the info,we got in around three and stopped at Off The Hoof and picked up some meat. With what we brought we should be ok till we get the rest of what we need.
It,s getting crazy out there, stay safe and healthy.

IL going to shelter-in-place, KY will more than likely follow suit any day now. Grocery stores, gas stations, and pharmacies will stay open, but I believe it means a total shutdown for restaurants and other non-essentials.

Fortunate that I’ll still be working and my employees will be able to do the same. While I would sure like to be fishing, blessed to be working right now. Praying for everyone
