Advice on Crankbaits

Looking to add some crankbaits to my arsenal. Any advice?

Pico Int crankbaits.....as good as you can get. Dive quick....good wiggle....good vibration....and the dimples in them hold Slabsauce good.....come in great colors too.

Tough to go wrong with the Rebel craws, crippled minnows and topwater. All fun and catch fish!

All of the above are good, but don’t forget the ones that got us there. The bandit 300’s started a lot of us down the crankbait road . Color is what made the difference. Pink, mistake, red/black, chartreuse with a purple back( that one is a bill Norman.) those are some of my standards. I’ve painted my own and saved some for the odd chance I’ll travel during crank time.

If you’re catching them on the crank bait bite, throw out a roadrunner. It’s why I quit cranking! I fish 1/16 to 1/4 to cover the water column. Kalins triple threat is my plastic of choice, 2 or 3 inch.

All the above but dont forget the strikeking 3xd,the 3xd,bandit,bomber 6a and picos are my top choices

Bandit 300's are the cream of the crop in my opinion. Great color selection and true running straight out of the box. C55s from Wlure are good also, cheap but get what you pay for, paint doesn't last long. Picos are decent I got a whole box with bad hooks, poor temper on them and break easily. To the manufacturers credit he did offer me replacement hooks, but got little time to replace double trebles on more than 60 crankbaits after I paid full price for them. Beware of the touters and product pushers, some folks well sell out easily for a slight discount. Can't go wrong with most the baits listed and more expensive doesn't exactly equate to better in my opinion.
