Want to buy one 14' rod

Had a little mishap the other day and broke my rod.

Not really picky on the brand, must be in good shape.

Can't you get a replacement section for it ?? Seems that'd be cheaper than buying a whole other rod .... :dono

Thanks but, it was the bottom third, poor judgement and completely my fault, had the rod for 5 years, so more than got my moneys worth. Lol

What brand rod, Pescador ?? If it was a BnM, my suggestion would be to contact Jack Wells by phone (and not a rep) and explain it to him. He might just send you that section, or discount it :dono

I will say this : He chose me to be a field tester, along with the namesake of the rod (Duckworth) when it first came out ... the Duckworth Crappie FnF 8' rod ... and he sent me the rod to test & give feedback on it. Well the rod came with one of the ceramic inserts knocked out of the guide (likely shipping damage). I told him about it and that I had a friend at work that would put a new guide on the rod for a nominal fee. He told me to just keep that rod and he'd send me another one, which he did. :ThumbsUp

He's even been known to replace & ship free rod tips &/or entire rods to other members that contacted him directly & gave him the honest truth about how the rod was damaged (even when it was entirely operator error that caused the damage). I can't guarantee anything on what he may do "nowadays" ... but, it never hurts to check with him for options.
