Had a blast in AL last night. (pics)
Friday night was very slow, I guess due to the colder weather we'd been having for a few days. Yesterday was in the mid '80's so I decided to give it another shot. Got to Lake Logan Martin and went to explore the mouth of Clear Creek and found structure that may be fairly new. At least I hadn't noticed it before. It was in about 25-27 feet of water and looked like it was holding fish. A sloping bottom, water flowing out of the creek and a light breeze made it a little difficult to get firmly anchored.
Bites were slow but produced a few 11-13+ inch fish the first couple of hours. Then about 11 pm it got real busy. Once I had all four poles with fish on. A fun night. I kept the stripe after he caused me to lose 30 minutes fishing time trying to undo the tangled mess he made of all my lines. And I've got a friend who likes to eat them anyway.
