is there anyone around central iowa that ice fishes? or shares ice fishing info

Just curious if anyone around here(des moines)does any ice fishing? Or if there is an ice fishing forum for like iowa? Didnt have any luck on google. Or where someone could get most current ice thicknesses or info on ice fishing locally? I do realize that my posts are tend to be mundane(?) or maybe like listening to a dolt ask questions. LOL. But cmon guys. am I posting in the areas or what? Cause I dont see hardly any replies. for my questions or anyones elses really. And thats kind of the reason I joined this forum was to learn some things. once again. thanks for any help you can provide

I don't ice fish any more but it is a great sport and there are things to learn from while doing it. Such as ice gives us the opportunity to locate springs by seeing melted ice along the banks. Note those as in the summer those springs are still there but still hold fish. Many of my spots have been located on the ice. And yes there is not much traffic on the Iowa forum but there is a treasure trove of info at CDC.

Interested in finding out more. What is the "cdc"? And thank you for the info
