I Might have
Got me a BOAT ! :pray
I have a few friends here and there and 2 of them have been in my circle many years .
I bought my little paddle around 10 foot john boat from them for 100 bux some years ago as a matter of fact .
They have had lots of boats over the years and still own at least 2 and for reasons unknown quit the crappie chasing and one sits in the garage and one at the ranch they own out west .
The ranch boat is an extra wide polarcraft 14 foot with a sprayed in bedliner and a late model mercury 25 rear steer electric start .
the trailer is a heavy duty custom they bought and fixed up . it has a nice trolling motor on it and I think the graph is a bird with possibly SI :yikes
It used to be their duck hunting boat and they fixed it up to chase crappie .
Anyway I have talked them into selling it to me and have the wife almost talked into letting me buy it . I said almost :Rofl
The good news is it aint for sale to anyone but me and I had to do some talking to get them to say ok if you want it ….2500 and you go west and pick it up :highfive
stay tuned , if it gets in my backyard the local crappie WILL regret it :cheers2

KABOOM ... surely that will be the name on the boat!

That IS a big Kaboom! Good luck that it will be happening. Funding from your coffee can buried in the backyard? All kidding aside, sounds like a good deal!

Sounds like a great deal. Good luck.

Hopefully the KABOOM will be on the water and NOT on the road home [emoji106][emoji846]

Sounds exciting, boats are expensive, but don't have to be, and that will open up a whole new world for you. Mine is very similar to what you describe, and I launch it around 100 times a year, that is getting enough use out of a boat to justify an upgrade, but it just works, and is so affordable.
