How's the fishing just above the Claxton area?

I fish the Canoochee on Ft. Stewart. It's a really good river for pan fishing. The water is a little high around here right now but is fishable. I'm not familiar with the Claxton area but I know there is a landing/ramp on hwy 280 between Pembrook and Claxton.
