I have fished ponds my entire life. I’m new to lake fishing. I’m looking to target crappie year-round. Looking for recommendations on electronics. Hummingbird Helix 10 with Mega SI or Garmin ECHOMAP Plus 93 (combo) with LiveScope? I know I’m going to have a learning curve.

I agree. The Helix will have better side/down imaging but if simply locating crappie Live Scope is the way to go. The above link is a great deal on the combo. I also agree with calling Brian. He is very knowledgeable and provides top notch customer service and can match most deals.

I dont know if you have bought your bundle yet but I got mine from Russell Marine. He price matched the 93SV with BPS price @ $599. Saved $400 in the end
