Learned this in Louisiana.
When frying fish, thaw out a bag of short cut corn on the cob , run through egg & breaded and fry. You can do 1 1/2 inch new potatoes also.

Haven't fried any fish lately.
Got pictures? Sounds great, I got some grand kids that love corn on the cob. Anything new is hard to sell to kids if you got picky one. :banghead
