MTCC Sept 17th 2019 tourney results
Middle TN crappie Club fished a wildcat tourney this day. We call it a 2 ways to win money tourney...What we do is have 2 weigh ins. The first weigh in comes at about 2 1/2 hours into the day. At this weigh in, the field is split into half. Those in top half will be in champions bracket with a shot at 1st or 2nd or however many places the tourney pays. Those who were not able to stay in top bracket all fish against each other for $100 pot sponsored by the club. Its a day and a way to give an extra shot to those fishing at a good pay day.....When it was all said and done, the winners this day are champs for the day. Toby Ivey & Tracy Farmer won with 7.81 pounds. Taking 2nd place was Randy Clark & Del Hayes with 7.63 pounds...Big fish pot this day was split between Randy & Del and Jamie & Roger Johnson both teams weighing in a BF at 1.59 pounds. Taking the club sponsored pot for the End of day money was Jamie & Roger Johnson as they bested the field they were fishing with at a 4 fish limit weighing 4.51 pounds.
