I am looking for any good ideas to store my fishing poles when I am not using them.
That's what corners are for. . I have over 40 poles and they get stacked in the corner of a small room that is mine. Hunting stuff on one side and fishing on the other.
I made racks like the ones at Bass Pro Shops. For the longer rods, I just hang them from bike hooks on the ceiling.

I had some extra 2x4s after the house was built, & stripped the wall & used 1/2” hot water pvc pipe for the pegs
For my spider & crankbait rods with the heavier reels I used 3/8 Dow rod on handle end

I went over the boat on the garage ceiling. I had a bunch or 1x6 poplar 3' shorts, jig saw and a hole saw.

I have used the plastic or pvc lattice and it works great.

I put my long rods on my garage door. Works like a charm. I dipped the J hooks in insulating plastic to prevent any wear on the rods.
