Looks like the family will be renting a house on Lake Norman the last week of October and taking the boat. I crappie fish a bunch. Any crappie to be caught in Norman that time of year? I appreciate ANY help anyone could provide.
Thanks

Your gonna have to find some brush, Norman is a good size lake and it’s clean and clear most of the time, fishing wise I’d pull the boat 40 minutes further southeast to high rock, crappie are way more plentiful throughout the lake and it’s stained water so they’ll be easier to find, each and every creek will have crappie in it
That is a good idea but taking the family and couldn't find a family suitable lake house that is pet friendly with a dock on that lake or many others. Norman will be a good compromise of fishing and family vacation. If it was only about te fishing I would have just kept driving into South Carolina to Wateree where I have fished previously. I am stuck with Norman as my choice for this trip. Thanks
If you know how to shoot boat docks your in luck, just look for deep docks with lots of shade, if you have si it will narrow it down quickly, mountain Creek is good, also North of the 150 bridge. Good luck and have fun!!
Which part of the lake are you staying at?
On the major branch of the lake on the East side to Trump golf course. Don't know enough about the lake to provide creeks name yet. I will be ordering a map. I also have Navonics mapping for that lake on my Lowrance and side imaging plus two Garmin Livescope units on the bow.
Thanks
There ain’t but one kinda fella that mounts two livescopes on the front of his boat
What kind of fella is that?. I added a second one for my partner to use
