Yes,no top blowing off, no water sloughing out, no turning over in the boat, easy to have a aerator attached
One more thing, size 7.5 or 13 qt

I regularly carry 5 to 7 dozen in a 19 qt. It just depends on how many you want to carry and how much room you have in the boat. I wouldn't even look at the
small one unless you are bank fishing.
Get the biggest one that isn’t going to take up too much space. Like already stated above it will depend on how many minnows u want to carry. I have the 19qt and it works perfect. Not too big. It big enough to keep enough minnows alive for all day fishing if I want.
I think mines 30 qt, its the cats meow!

They are the best. No water spill. Keeps minnows alive for days. Comes with a plug in for my boat so I don't have to use batteries for aerator. Glad I bought mine.

I have a 13qt. and wish I had a 19qt. You will love it.
I have the 19 quart, and love it ! Benifits stated above ..... My only complaint is, full of water and minners, it's very heavy, but worth it's weight.
13qt here. I like it better than the buckets. I usually only take around 3doz on a day trip. My little arms get to tired if I catch more 50 crappie!
