The Corp of Eng. put out brush piles and post GPS on web site for both Humminbird & lorance units. I down load the file and unzip, and open. How do I then load them on the Helix unit? I do have HummibirdPC on my computer.

You will need a sd card, H/B P C. Edit your waypoints, then up load to card. Then install card into unit. Way points are stored on the card.

You can type them into your unit one by one but that takes a while to do. 1 or 2 is simple enough but for a bunch you need a keyboard.
The user manual to Humminbird PC is under the Help tab at the top left of HBPC ...

I got the corp. of Eng. file on SD card but not able to get HB PC to accept it or do anything. What next?
HBPC accepts HB proprietary files and GPX files ... (I think even Lowrance usr files) ...
If your data is in a different file format you will need a 3rd party file format converter ...
I use gpsbabel ... (free software) ...
GPSBabel: convert, upload, download data from GPS and Map programs

My humminbird pc wouldn’t recognize the humminbird file. I had to use the Lowrance usr file.

What is the filename? If it is a xxx.pdf file, then you will have to open it in Acrobat and type the waypoints into the Humminbird PC one at a time. (Start a new file in HBPC to add waypoints.) Then you can upload the file you create to the SD card and use the SD card to load waypoints into FF.
