Im headed over to Eufaula Thursday afternoon and I have been reading about hybrid bass fishing and I would like to try it. Anybody got any pointers for Eufaula?

Put in at River Bluff (Georgetown) fish the river ledges on the right bank back north. I do not know if the hybirds are there now, but they was thick in that area when I was crappie fishing that side this spring.
Look for the shad schools is the best advice I was given about hybrid fishing.
I will check out that place. I also heard the sunken bridge at Pataula may hold some along with crappie.
Used to fish that sunken bridge at night in the '80's. Boat position is everything in that spot. Bring an anchor and rope you don't mind losing. I brought two cinder blocks to hang on the bridge side/railing. It also can get rough and cool if the wind is north or south.
Good luck.
I hardly ever anchor anymore since they came out with the spot lock.
What are the best baits to use for hybrids? I went up to Academy and bought a few different colored spoons.
