Douglas County 7-13-19

Got to the ramp at 6am, was the third boat to launch. Fished till around 9:30, caught a limit of Bass early on then switched to crappie after the top water bite slowed down. I hadn't been to this lake since last year, it appears that either a bunch more brush had been placed in the lake, or what was there has moved around. Either way, there are more brush piles now than I remember. Only caught one crappie on a jig, in 12 FOW. The water is Super clear, like 4-5 feet visibility. All together had a good morning, got to watch the sun come up over the water, and largemouth smash top water plugs. There is a slot limit for Bass on this lake, between 13"-18" must be released, and its full of 12 inchers, its a good spot to go when you get "fish hungry".
