Crappie at Night

I am looking to start night time crappie fishing for the first time, and was wondering if I can get some advice on the best light set up to use.

any light will do. get what you can afford or make your own. I used those wallyworld halogens for 20yrs before LED came out. LED power usage was hands down better.

find fish with locator and set up on them. wait them out its not magic. some nights you draw fish and minnows fast. other nights it takes a while. I have set for a couple hours catching a fish here and there, then boom its on when a school moves in and sets u under you! don't give up with one or two trips either. some nights it just don't work well. when it does it seems like magic. lol been doing it since the lantern days. you wont regret learning the night light game I promise.
