Southern Pro 1 1/2" Lil Hustler Cajun Cricket on black jig head - my all time favorite, but close are red or orange each with chartreuse tail with or without glitter, red or orange scale with chart tail. Half a dozen companies make a 2" rat tail shad, pearl, black or Tennessee shad. Lake fork Trophy 2 1/4" baby shad same colors. It pays to have an assortment along, just switch out until something clicks. Fish a balance between the jig head and the line weight: 2# line - 1/64 jig head, 4# - 1/32, 6# - 1/16. Fish the little crappie plastics slow.
For real finesse: 1.25" Bobby Garland Itty Bit Swim'R black or pearl very light line & 1/64 jig head on no heavier than 2# line.
Thank you vary much, I'll give it a shot

I was fishing recently at a reservoir lake with the crappie lights out and i had to many fish under the boat, just used an 1/8 oz roadrunner glowing jig with any plastic with chart tail in 22fow under a railroad trussel. Worked great.
