Michigan spring camp shout outs and thank yous

I need to thank everybody that made the spring camp a success. First and foremost are those who so generously donated prizes for our Friday night "freeby" give away and our Saturday night raffle.

Next I need to thank Northern Exposure Campground for working with us on reservations, cancellations, switching sites, getting Billbob a site with the group and being flexible with the two cars per site rule. I think we had 6 or 7 on the two cabin lots during the fish fry. They have a truly beautiful campground with an awesome view of the lake. The group shot is the view we had from our cabin.

Finally I need to thank everyone that brought food, plates, paper towel, etc for the two nights and pitched in when things got a little hectic. They helped make things go smoothly.

I guess the final, final thanks is to our out of state visitors, Danny and Mae (Tennessee), John and Debbie (Louisiana), Tim and Dar (Indiana) and of course, Billbob from Indiana. They helped make it a great week end.

If I forgot anyone, I apologize. I'll see everyone at the fall gathering.

Excellent job on the whole spring camp thing. I am,so sorry that I missed this one. You found a great location and had some real celebrity appearances. Kudos to all who made it a great event.

We enjoyed it all. Great time and great camp. I hope you and Steve enjoyed your steaks. haha And thanks Slab for the sight and all the sponsors who donated. Remember to support them when you need products. Hope Jeff can sleep without Wilber in sight.

Jerry, Jeff I appreciate all the thought and hard work you guys put into this camp. I enjoy the friendships we have made with so many here. The friendly tournament is fun, but for me it’s the fellowship that is the big prize. The comraderie, support and sharing is what it’s all about.

Wanda I and our whole group had a fantastic time , the view from those campsites was awesome!!
I thought the entire event from start to finish went very well and I thought the Friday door prize idea was great , something for everyone.
I have already started rounding up some of next years prizes and Steve has a few ideas we plan on implementing .
he is running the show and with me as the sidekick who know what we will come up with!!:dono
was nice seeing the legend again (Billbob) and enjoyed all of our southern friends as well as all of our regulars.
cant wait for next year!

It was amazing to see the changes made to that campground. I wish I could explain what that place was like 30 years ago. If memory serves me, it changed hands in 1994 and the transformation began. I was in medical first responder school with the guy who was tasked with making changes.

I spent a great deal of my youth on those waters. Wish I could have fished it with everyone.
