Work trip
Looks like I might can get a couple of fishing days around a work trip to Tulsa next week. I’ll be staying in Springfield at my daughters and could make the drive to Stockton, Pomme or Truman. Any suggestions on which might be a better choice and the technique to try. I’m set up for spider rigging and pulling crankbaits, just would bring a different set of poles!

They are all really high. Tough fishin'.

Richard Bowling is killing the big ones on Truman everyday and is a great guide if you want to getrdone for sure. He is spider rigging and single poling but he always gets fish no matter what the conditions. good luck with whatever lake you decide on.

I spider rigged Stockton yesterday and did fairly well in 28-40 ft.of water about 17-20 ft. down. They were real scattered though. Pink roadrunner head with minnow was good as well as double minnow rigs. Graphed a lot of areas that didn't have any fish so you may need to move around until you find them.
