Heading over to Keith Sebelius Lake later this week, if anyone have any tips or suggestions that they don’t mind sharing here or by message it would be greatly appreciated. Are there a lot of deep brush piles?

The lake has just got above pool for the first time in years so who knows.
I lived in Plainville and Hays when I was younger but have not fished that lake in over 20 years. We always had the best luck trolling the dam with hot-n-tots and shad raps. I can't help with the brush piles. That was not a thing that we knew of in 1998. Lol!
