Morning fishing trip and Lake Palestine Report

This morning Lake Life and myself met up for a little fishing. The trip was for two thing. First for me to show him how I am catching them trolling and for him to show me his Livescope.

First started out in my boat at the bridge. The water was so smooth. We pulled in 20 good sized fish trolling with a jig. Fishing about 13 fow with yellow and orange jig. Unfortunately we each lost aboutAttachment 344805Attachment 344806Attachment 344807 5 good ones. Would get them to the boat then it would get off. Just put a post on a possible fix for that.

Next we went back and got his boat to look at livescope. The fish apparently quit biting but we can see them there. Really cool. Anyway here are a few pictures from the days event. Attachment 344804

Just posted a video of it. It was fun. As they say, a bad day on the lake is better than a good day in the office. This was a decent day on the lake so that makes it so much better.

Nicely done! Never trolled for crappie before. Very interesting!

I had a great time on this trip and learned some things as well. I had never really trolled for crappie either. It was highly effective and you still got the rush from the thump!
