My question are the upgrades in the Terrova worth the extra $500.00 or should I just get the remote ?

Control i-Pilot directly from your Android device. You get quick command of speed, steering, Spot-Lock and AutoPilot – plus the ability to update the software in your i-Pilot system. you might look into this option
