Both will work, depends on your personal preference. I prefer to long-line, but my boat is setup to push as well, if need be.
what part of Ga are you going to
Both work GREAT but it's just easier for me longlining. I dont have to buy minnows (which is my preferred bait when spider rigging). I guess I'm just lazy. HA!:biggrin
Guess it depends on what you prefer and structure you are fishing. Personally, I pull all the time. Reason being, I feel I can cover more water faster. Good luck to whichever you do! You can catch crappie whatever method you choose. Tight Lines!

Welcome to Georgia. I've done long lining, but at one time was spider rigging. Prefer long line. I know some that do well with spider rigging though.
