Water temps locally finally hit the 50 degree mark this last weekend. The bite was not great but definitely better. Fished 2 lakes in the morning both were at 50 degrees. Caught 12 Crappie between me and my buddy. Kept these 6. Plus a few other species to complete a meal. Good things are coming.

Excellent! Your start was much better than ours was. As the weather warms, they'll really start getting turned on. You have some really quality fish up there.

Thanks folks. It actually has been a slow start around here. This was my 5th outing since ice out and the first with any fish to bring home.
