Cypress black bayou reservoir
I went this morning and tried for a couple hours with jigs and minnows with not much luck, and decided I would try pulling some crankbaits, I've never fished this way before but I threw out 4 crankbaits and started trolling, almost immediately I caught a decent crappie, I ended up trolling for a couple more hours until my trolling motor battery died and ended up with 14, I caught probably 5 or 6 that was too small and a couple channel cats that were too small. I was pulling them in water that averaged 10 to 15 feet deep and using light colored crankbaits, i couldn't tell you a specific color or type because they are just cheap ones from Walmart. I really enjoyed it and will be doing this type of fishing a lot more. I have learned a lot from the people on here and i thank you for that, if it hadn't been for y'all i never would've tried this style of fishing. The biggest fish was almost 14 inches long Attachment 342884
