I know someone who does this on Brewer and Greers Ferry and he catches a decent amount of crappie.Quote:

I have , works even better between two brush piles that are close together. takes a while to get the bait ball going but its worth the wait.
I’m pretty sure that he just fished with minnows down in the bait ball. Always wanted to try it with him. I might tag along one night this summer.
