Ogeechee Today

My ole buddy, Tim Rowland(TimR), called me this week and wanted to go to a river fishing. Tim and I have fished Lakes many times before but never a Georgia River. Tim has never fished a river before..We met up at the crack today and headed to the Ogeechee. It did not take Tim long to get hooked when he caught his first ever Roster Redbreast. The bite was about over by noon and we headed back with a big mess of Reds, Shellcrackers, and one NICE warmouth. I haven't fished the Ogeechee in twenty years.. I may I have to load up my kayak and head that way.
