Been catching a few nice perch in a few bluegill .
Caught a few fish in the Powder River arm in Brownlee crappie They are running about 13" in 16" This was up two days ago April 24 2019.
The water in Brownlee is all the way up in the fishing is improving for Crappie I caught 2 15” in quite a few small ones
Brownlee is starting to Go down fishing is terrible July 9.
I've read they were doing alright on cat's down below Huntington. Wanting to go over again. Never done much good there but the report's that come out of there can't be all wrong, except maybe this year!
Don The fishing has been very unpredictable In Brownlee reservoir This season the crappie fishing Has been very poor What fish I did get this share More ranging from 17 in 13 In smaller But very spotty From spring until July here Don't know what the fishing is like In Huntington I haven't heard any reports myself They are catching a few catfish In Hills Canyon The crappie Fishing It Is starting to pick up In Hells Canyon Don't know anything about Oxbow The fish we've been getting in the Hills Canyon On the Idaho side All the way down to the main Park Has been up-and-down But like I said picking up I went yesterday morning And caught about 10 crappie Ranging up just recorders of a pound In smaller Since the hot weather has Come on my think the fishing will pick up One thing was a key factor As we were starting to see a lot of carp On the surface A few weeks back You're not seeing any It seems like when you see them on the surface Usually the Crappie Are usually biting Let me know if you go to Huntington And do any fishing Give us a report Are you she passes information To Oregon Bass in panfish club In Portland Oregon Most of the guys in the club Will not come over to Brownlee Because of water fluctuation Also the fishing is been very poor If they would leave the water alone I believe the fishing with pick up Tremendously Like the good old days On fortunately They want to Release water for the stupid salmon.Quote:

Yes We are in Richland Bought five minutes from fishing But I usually don't fish In Hewitt Because it's been poor Are you she drive all the way over to Hells Canyon In About 30 miles Usually I go in the evenings Course it's about 100°. But I did enjoy Fishing in the morning the other day Nice and cool Until about 10 or 11 o'clock.Quote:

As of August 16 fishing in Hills Canyon has been terrible due to thunderstorms in heavy wind condition. Powder river at Hewitt has been good water still holding the Crappie have been a little finicky some evenings are pretty good still cashing a variety bluegill's smallmouth bass the bass fishing has been excellent we are fishing evenings starting at 5 o'clock in fishing till dark. Talk to quite a few guys are fishing out of boats reports have been up-and-down some guys are doing pretty good and others are bad most of them have been doing good on bass as far as cat fishing I haven't heard too much we do catch a few fishing for crappie . I believe as your temperature start dropping things will improve so get ready to do some fantastic fall fishing I believe September through October should be good. Will keep you updated .
