Hate that camp is always on last weekend of turkey season as in past few years it was always my best turkey time. So will have my stuff and if I can find a decent place to go would like at least one morning to get out and chase them. Anyone have any places around camp where I can go? Thanks.

When you leave out of the boat ramp by water go right. First cove on left go back in. Get out head up the ridge to the left.

I use a box call while sitting in my boat before light and go to the closest bird that gobbles back. Tons of turkeys around Truman and there are maps online that show where public use ends.
