Santee this week

Attachment 340104Attachment 340106Me and Fred Hill headed up to Lake Marrion at Santee, SC Tuesday for a little R and R. Our target was 2 pound shell crackers. We failed as we only caught a SL around 1 pound with our largest at 1 pound 3 Oz...The water was too cool for bedding at 65 degrees and with the weather and cold nights, I think they will bed at the new moon next month. We caught all the fish on a clean bottom in 6 FOW near bedding area.

We also caught Bream and Catfish. We stayed at Harry's Fish Camp in Pineville, SC.Attachment 339883Attachment 339884Attachment 339885Attachment 339886

I have been going to Florida for 53 years and this year was my last. Nope, not going.....There is something really wrong with the fish down there.
