Crappie nibbles clean up
How do you get smashed crappie nibbles out of your carpet? I have went through a whole jar of chartreuse yellow crappie nibbles this week and part of them are smashed in my boat carpet from me dropping them or crappie spitting them out and me stepping on them. My carpet looks pretty bad. What is the best way to clean them?

I got plenty of white spots in my boat from nibbles. I don’t worry about getting them out because they’ll be back shortly! LOL! That’s probably why I’ll never own a brand new boat... My boats & 4 wheel drive trucks are not for show, but to get down & dirty hauling wildlife home! [emoji12]

I use a pressure washer with a lower pressure nozzle to clean my carpet. Will get rid of fish slime and smooshed in mud, dirt, sand and crappie nibble remnants. Just take it easy, especially if it's older carpet.

Let it dry and brush it out with a dry brush. Most boat carpets are coated with a coating to repel stains. If that doesnt work, Id bet it would come out with a little bit of soapy water.

Wet your carpet, sprinkle some Tide laundry soap and scrub with a brush. Rinse well. If Tide will take jet dryer fuel out of the Daytona recetrack, it should be able to handle crappie nibbles.

I use a water hose, they will wash right out.

I've got nibble glitter all stuck in my carpet. The wife has frowned upon my use of her vacuum cleaner to get it out of the carpet, but the rotating brush makes a difference. I mentioned that I might need to invest in a dedicated Roomba robot vacuum to keep the boat carpet clean and I still can't see straight after she slapped the sense back into me.
