I have never been the first person to Launch at the Bone

But -- there is a first time for everything --- woke up at 3:30 and could not go back to sleep.. I kept thinking of Richard Gene up hours before the sun came up starting his U-Tube for the day. It was going to be a clear day two days after a Rain. I thought with the morning bite being good three days before, what if I was there.. At 4:30 I was slipping the boat in the water, Fishing in the dark from 8 to 10 foot of water where a friend had just caught 31 a few days before.. There was no morning bite before or after the sun came up.. What did come up was the wind === just short of a Lake wind Advisory. I tried several small sheltered areas for fish on the bank and Nobody was home.. Wound up fishing where the road blocked the wind with a Flotilla fishing the same area. I had small bream pecking the eyes out of my Shiners and lost the only two Crappie that took my offering at the Boat. Uncle Si Robertson would have been Proud of all the Old White Whiskers plying the water in search for fish.. If you don't Go, You don't know :fish
