Hello everyone. Anybody tried Millennium Seats on a Tracker Panfish 16? The stock seats aren't that small, but I wonder if the Millennium's are to big to fit comfortably. Thanks for any info!

Well heck! Looks like I'm on my own on this one!! Hope the return postage isn't to bad if it doesn't fit!
We put two on my buddies sneak boat so I'm sure they will be fine. Once you sit in them for a while you won't send them back.

I put some on my small skiff and my buddy liked them so he ordered two.

They will work fine!
They won’t work on my Wareagle stick steer. They are a little wider than a standard seat and don’t leave me enough room to get between throttle or steering stick. Now my throttle is mounted right beside the seat on right side.
Hey, thanks ya'll. Just ordered one! Probably should have ordered two!
When you get them, mount one and sit in it to check for angle. I tried and couldn’t fish from a couple of them. The sit with front kinda raised and it was uncomfortable on back of my legs just above knee. And leaned back to much for me. I put one on a 4 legged stool for back of my boat so I could move around when pulling cranks. I loosened bolts on front, removed back bolts, added about 1//2 in shim under the 2 rear mounting points, reinstalled bolts. Now I have a seat I can sit in all day without hip’s hurting or my back. Just wish it would work in front of my boat.
Could you make it work if they were 4” more narrow?
Gene I would think so. My temptress is like 16 at widest point and if I’m not mistaken the millennium was 18 but on my particular set up that 1 in made all the difference. And I’m thinking the panfish has about the same clearance on sides.
Yes they would work great. Let me know if u get them, I will order. Would really like them in grey if possible
I measured the seats and benches.
The bench and the boat seats are the same width.19-7/8"
we will look into making some that are smaller.
Cray I did the same thing on mine. Used about 6 washers on the rear two bolts and got the angle to where I didn’t feel like I was about to flip over backwards and works good. Now I wouldn’t trade them for......well almost nothing :cheers2
So how did they work out for you?
Was there enough clearance and did you have to shim the rear?
I have 2 sitting here now that I will be installing in my PF16 Sat.

They worked great! ( I bought two!) Only problem I had was that I hated the locking seat swivels that came with my PF. Went to Walmart and got two plain old non locking seat swivels and they are much better. The clearance is fine, no problems! I might shim the rear later but I shortened the straps on the front seat to help me sit up straighter and that's all I needed. You will love them and you can tweak them to fit if needed. And they look good in a PF16 too!!
Thanks for the info. After your comments I know now why some folks buy those aftermarket brackets. I have several of those seat bases on the shelf so I should be good to go.

Gene. I have the same issue as cray on my Grumman stick steer. I can’t swivel at all due to hitting throttle and stick. Please let me know if you get a narrower version.

Hey Canepolekid, glad I was able to find this thread...I too have a PF16 and was considering switching to the Millennium seats but was wondering how they would work with the PF's limited space. My factory seats are in great shape but I keep hearing how comfortable the Millenniums are.
How are you liking them? Would love to see a pic of the PF16 with the seats if not too much trouble. Thanks
I love those Millennium seats! They are a bit wide when trying to get around them to get to the back seat but I can overlook that because they are so comfortable. Really thats the only small complaint. If they were to make a narrow seat for the front I would probably get one, but the regular seat is fine. Rear seat has enough room so no problems. I did get a regular seat base for both seats and that makes a world of difference from those locking bases! Like other posters I did tweak the seat straps by making them shorter so I could sit up more. I believe Cray used washers on the bases to set his seat angle. Really easy to get them adjusted the way you like, which is another plus. AND they look really good on a PF16! Sorry no pics as my boat is in storage and not here. Overall the seats are a fantastic improvement to the PF16 and when used on non locking bases are even better! I think you would love them!!!! Let us know! Oh,..... did I mention they look GREAT on a PF16?
OK sounds good I am going to get a couple for ours. Yes those locking swivel bases are a pain. I actually modified the locking mechanism on ours with a screwdriver so they don't lock anymore. We love our PF16. We like fishing closer to the water & sounds like those seats will make it even better. Thanks for the info!

Mine is wider that the PF16 but I can only swivel 180 to left. The seat hits the control lever on the right.
Back seat is fine. Plenty of room both sides.
Looks like a great set up to fish from
