I have tried dogfood, & cotton seed meal. Don't know how much it really helps. Does anybody have suggestion on how to sweeten up a crappie hole & does it really help?

Try soaking corn or milo for about a month and put in burlap bags and sink at your best spot..... works for me..;)
We tried ''sweet 10'' or Mule and Horse feed. It drew minnows in ,but also Channel Catfish. Those buggers break my line and lost too many jigs.:rolleyes:
