Anyone Kayak Fish Reelfoot

Me and buddy came down a few trips last year and fished and had a ball with the gills and crappie. Caught good mess of cats too that we didnt account for getting. Anyways we loved the area and myself and family have been back few times for dinner and enjoying it. Were from up around ky lake so not too far. Last spring i sold the big boat and started kayak fishing. So far i love it. Would like to do some more crappie and gill fishing from it as ive been big cat guy for a while. Looking to hook up with some other people in kayaks to fish the area and learn it a little better. I work swing shift so available during week also. Didnt know how the snakes were to kayakers. We seen a ton the times we were down this summer.
