Me and some friends are staying at Hugh White on Grenada the week of April 7th. Any got tips for where on the lake and how to catch some good ones for that time of year? We have never been before, and have high expectations.

If the water is high again this year it will be hard to find the spawning fish. Best bet is to look for the guide boats. Usually there are two people fishing and the guide stands behind them. Bring binoculars and use them. I fish Grenada 99 percent of the time and thats what I do.

The above response is what is wrong with the world...
I would be inclined to agree with Super D. My only advice would be if the water is high again, pack some waders and a jig pole!
Thanks for the advice
Why is this advice wrong when you only have limited-time fishing.?

First off, since you fish there 99% of the time, you could have invited him to follow or fish with you, not sic him on the hard working guides for free. Secondly, if that’s what you have to do to catch fish, and you fish there so very often, what are you learning while you’re on the water? Good luck with that approach.
Give me a shout closer to the date I will be glad to help y’all out!

Best advice I can give is hire a guide your first day there. It will take some of the pressure off trying to figure out the fish and the lake. Grenada is my home lake and she can be tuff

No problem...we plan to be there on the 7th...start fishing on the 8th. I appreciate it.
