Looking to get back into the swing of things

I used to have a huge passion for fishing and one day it just didn't feel like it once did. So, I took a few years off and now I'm ready to get back into panfishing. Any tips for a bank only fishermen?

If your talking all fishing in general,bank fishing in the winter is probably a little tougher than warm weather bank fishing.That said, look at the Wv trout stocking schedule,bank fishing the many lakes no streams ( several near you ) follows for some great action,and gets you out of the house.
Once the ice comes, ( be sure it's good ice ) your fishing opportunities open up.On the ice you can fish areas not reachable during soft water, and allows you to pursue a wider variety of species.

I remember as a young man just fishing for trout/panfish only an had some of the best times fishing. Thanks for the advice I will put it to good use.
