My friend I just met at the marina was catching yellow perch with minnows on a double bottom rig. The yellows wouldn't hit my crappie jig, so I went crappie fishing and caught a limit of crappie. Then came back to just watch and talk with my new friend Chris. He caught an early 17 1/2" rock fish and a limit of yellow perch. Two guys from the fishing forums came down this morning. BayBum, and Chris. We all caught fish. Had a nice day. I bummed some more minnows for tomorrow morning.
