Gov Roy Cooper

I don't know what kind of politician Governor Cooper is and don't really care but he his tops as far as I am concerned. I thank him from the bottom of my heart for having the US and State flags in NC flown at half mast in honor for my grandson Sgt James Slape who was killed the other day in Afghanistan. A big thanks goes out to him from me and the rest of Jimmy's family. And once more in case you see this post, Thank you Roy. I just wanted all of you in NC to realize what a great person you have leading your state.

As a veteran myself in Grenada and in Desert Storm, I salute your grandson for his sacrifice and may your family be healed during this time. I've lost many friends and have also been wounded a few times as well. But I wouldn't trade the guys I was proud to be around and still with for nothing this world has to offer.
