Any reports on Clinton? Headed over Friday buddy wants to get a few break in hours on new outboard motor. Probably be try spider rigging. I do not know the lake very well so any helpful hints on where and how would be greatly appreciated! I'm not asking for your honey holes just a general idea where to go try??
You might want to check the fishing regs. I am not sure you can use more than 2 poles on Clinton.
Clinton lake is 2 poles per person.

I think the big 3 corp of engineer lakes are the only place where you can only troll 3 poles at once

I haven't fished it lately but I'd try the deeper water on the west side. Water is probably in upper 90's closer to the hot water discharge and I guarantee over 100 out in front of it. Could probably slay some catfish drifting.
tbone 68 that is a great looking fishing boat you went fishing in today . saw it at the gas station how was Clinton fishing today.
Thanks bogdipper 2 and achabob yes water by outlet was 106 went to west end of lake found fish in 10-12 fow on structur on points. Put 4 keepers in box threw back a dozen shorts. Then someone opened the gate for all the ski boats and pleasure boats made it to tough to fish open water. Tried a couple cove with no luck. BTW boat ran as awesome as it looked!!
