foiling 00 blades
Was messing around with fingernail foil and some 00 blades. Not really sure about the longevity - regular fingernail polish, clear coated, doesn't last very long. I figure if it catches one fish - it did it's job.
These were clear coated twice, top only. If they work I'll dip them.

LedHed I have a question for you about a product I have and just have not tried yet, but this has made me think that it may well word good on something like this. I originally thought about using it for eyes when I powder paint. It's that special water you can mix with Powder paint to coat what ever you want to coat. then you could sure it in the oven just like the powder paint? Have you ever tried this special water? I sure have needed to try it and have had it a few years already, lol!

thnx for all the comments
Something else to mess with - can probably do this with lead head jigs too.
My experience with liquid powder paint is minimal and it isn't for everyone. I wouldn't recommend it especially with so many painting options that are available - now days.
Have to send you some of the crossbones stuff Charles
thnx Tim - arm is already blown out
got lots of play time Adam.......
