I like to tell people that I fished with Joan Wulff. I stopped by the Orvis store in Manchester Vermont years ago, and out back they have a small pond with two casting platforms. I was casting a 4Pc 5wt which I later bought, and on the platform to my right was Ms Wulff. She appeared to be giving a fly-casting lesson or demonstration to a fellow.
Thanks for sharing educational vids along with brief history report. The sport lives because of those who give.

One of the best tips I heard is this...imagine a wall in front of you, and one behind you, with you in the middle with a paint brush full of paint. The goal is to flip the paint straight ahead onto the wall in front and in back of you. This is how your wrist should feel when you make a good fly cast.
I'm way ahead of you -- again. ;)
