I disagree with the buff approach. Been there, done that. Too hot for my comfort zone. I prefer using a quality sunscreen product such as Neutrogena "UltraSheer" Dry Touch, which is rated as being close to and SPF 100+. I put it on before heading out and it lasts me all day. I've had to start getting serious about sunscreen protection after having several skin cancers removed. None in the past two seasons of using this product.
I also wear fingerless sunscreen gloves. Several manufacturers out there. And a broad brimmed hat. All work fine.
