Does anyone know the water levels at Horseshoe Lake in Alexander County IL? Heard it may have been flooded. I will be down that way late March and have always wanted to try fishing there. How is the fishing forecast there this year? Thanks for any help.
Horseshoe has been tough ever since the '93 flood. It seemed to really wipe out the crappie population. I do hope they make a comeback. It's a pretty lake but very shallow.
