Uncle Don's coffeehouse 2018
With a new year comes a new thread to post your thoughts and conversations of nothing in particular. 2 years ago we hit 905 posts in the "Random Thoughts" thread, last years "Shots from the hip" got 702.......as Jerry once said....."You can do better".
I have always felt these threads were similar to going into your little town restauraunt, catching up on the local topics......you leave when you have to go to work, and pick up where you left off on your return.
So, carry on from where we left off in 2017, keep it clean and friendly. Come on in to Uncle Don's coffeehouse......be careful the paint on the walls are still fresh!
Uncle Don's coffeehouse 2018
I worked at the Wenzel farm, black angus, alfalfa hay, oats.
They also had about 6 retired guys that they housed/fed/enjoyed for the state.
Those guys had some cool stories.
I think I remember us going and floating the black river for trout. I could be wrong.
It was a cool place, a friend since kindergartens family owned it. Every summer I would go and stay and work.
At the end of summer his Gma would send us to Canada for 2 weeks fishing, all expense paid, we had more fun!!
I think Ed ? Was the guy you sold beans to? Farmed a lot and was a relative. I remember rye taller than the pickup.
