OK I am going to ask it, does that color c lector actually work is another gimic to catch fisherman. Would hate to spend $120 on something that is barely functional like some items I bought and wont mention.
It works on the principal that the colors suggested are the most visible at that depth and water clarity. That don't necessarily mean that the fish are gonna hit that color, just that they're more likely to actually see it.Quote:

Used to have that same model Pappy. Used it for salmon fishing. Drop to different depths and it would give the color spectrum.
Funny thing though, in those days, you could only get a few colored spoons. After that, you added prism tape that never stuck around long. Wow have we come a long ways
