Went out yesterday 4-22-17 and launched the boat at trimmer springs. Started fishing a cove west of the ramp and nailed 8 in about 2 hours. Went to big creek and nailed about 25 more in the same time only keeping the larger units. Brought home 20 for the grease. Will post pics when I figure out how to. All fish were caught on jigs deep and all were females full of eggs. Pre spawn is in full swing.
