yeppers when they bring em in from up north .....last batch was nice ones for a fly fishin tourney .....fun fun
I hit the no fly area with a Go Go minnow in the patriot color the small 2 inch version ...looks like a baby rainbow ....drag it slow under a small float on a jig head .....hang on tight because they will flat try to rip the rod out of your hands .....

Looks like lunch.Pretty good to eat smoked!!Theirs a little black streak on the inside of the back of trout that gives a strong taste if not removed can be removed with fingernail or a spoon. Rainbows Fight to the end!!Love to ketch'm.
you might notice it had already broken someones line and still had that hook and line in its face ....that in turn got in my finger shortly after that photo ....thank goodness I didn't get it into the barb area , but ouch none the less .....dang thing went into the guys fish basket that didn't have any though so it wont be hurting any other anglers shoulder or fingers or tackle .....heck it fought so hard and jumped so much that somehow it bent the jig back on itself ....liked to never got the Go Go minnow back .....what fiasco that was for sure .....LOL
