Do any of y'all use them? I met mr. JB about 10 years ago and he seemed like a genuine great guy. His son Blaine is running the business now after his passing I think. Any first hand reviews before I order 1 or 2?

I started with slater poles/jigs . Never had a problem with his stuff . The pole with fixed eyes ( crappie deluxe, I think) was a good rod . This was back in the mid 80's . I switched to B/M mainly due to availability . Now I am a Sam Heaton junkie .:popcorn
There is a slaters and salters brand jig pole. Slaters is mississippi based, salters in Louisiana based. Slaters does have some good products though!Quote:
